At Bare, we believe every car tells a story. For us, that story started with a dream.
Growing up, we were the kids with a poster of our dream car pinned to our bedroom wall. Hot Wheels, Gran Turismo, Initial D, sitting in the driver’s seat of our parents’ cars, eagerly waiting for the day we could finally drive. Years and thousands of miles driven later, after grinding through corporate America, I finally bought the car I had always dreamed of. But what started as a proud moment quickly turned into a frustrating journey.
Like many enthusiasts, I wanted to make the car my own – unique, personal, and a true reflection of me. That’s when I discovered the problem: high-quality parts were either overpriced, poorly made, or sold by retailers who didn’t care if you ended up happy. OEM and aftermarket carbon parts cost a fortune. Ordering online often felt like a gamble, with restocking fees, shipping costs, and little to no real support. It was clear that most of the industry was designed to give customers the bare minimum, focusing only on profit. We started helping our friends and local car enthusiasts, then realized there needed to be change.
That’s where the idea for Bare Carbon was born.
What Bare Means:
For us, “BARE” has two meanings. It’s a nod to our goal of flipping the industry standard on its head - making the premium of quality goods and service into the BARE minimum. But it also represents the starting point: a stock car, BARE, and full of potential. Our mission is to be the bridge between that starting point and the dream car you’ve always imagined.
